The group met to hear a presentation by Tom Bremridge, Chief Executive of the Macular Disease Society; paitent represenatives - Alan Farley and Lesley Fletcher shared their individual experiences; and Chris Steele, Consultant Optometrist and Head of Department of Optometry, Sunderland Eye Hospital and member of NICE Glaucoma Guidelines Development Group dicsussed new guidance concerning the managemenet and treatment of glaucoma.
